“We counsel people with problems; not problems with people somehow attached”
– David Powlison

Panel 1

INTRODUCING

Colin Elmhurst, m.div, APC, ba

Master of Divinity in Counselling, Associate Professional Counsellor

Educationally prepared to become a Registered Psychotherapist, Colin instead opted to join the Professional Association of Christian Counsellors and Psychotherapists (PACCP) as an Associate Professional Counsellor (APC) in order to practice a methodology of Christian counselling that is compassionate, relatably human, and yet involves the whole person with the whole truth. Expect empathetic listening with careful questions and reflections paired with the gentle and timely weaving of the word of life shared as a good-news salve for hope and comfort in trial. This is a space to recover and grow in safety. Join him as he makes it his task to encourage you in your walk to live out the fullness of life you are called to.

What are your burdens? What is your pain? There’s enough trial for the day – It’s time to talk to someone who cares.
